Chef Carmen offers cooking classes for visitors to Sorrento with a range of traditional Neapolitan meals in a very relaxed and informal atmosphere with humour, patience and boundless energy making the experience even more enjoyable. Having introduced visitors to one or two Neapolitan dishes through her classes, it was inevitable their appetites would seek out even more dishes. Gnocchi with meatballs, Scialatielli mussels and clams, Sorrento-style gnocchi, Eggplant parmigiana and Limoncello Tiramisu, the true flavor of Sorrento lemons.
To satisfy this, Carmen’s second ambition as a teenager was a natural follow-up to her Cooking School. This was La Locanda del Gusto (The Inn of Taste) restaurant where visitors’ taste buds are treated to a selection of true Neapolitan cuisine with typical Sorrentine hospitality.
