Day OneArrive at your hotel for a welcome complimentary drink on the terrace to help you relax and begin to appreciate the beauty of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. Depending on flight times you may have the chance to take a quick tour of Sorrento historical centre before your evening meal.
Day Two A day tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum to explore these remarkable archeological sites. In the evening a meal at the hotel overlooking the Bay of Naples or in one of the many restaurants before taking a stroll around Sorrento.
Day ThreeA relaxing tour along the Amalfi coast to enjoy breathtaking views including Il Galli rocks, home of the mythological Sirens. Visit Amalfi's Cathedral and Ravello's Museo del Duomo with its 13th century treasures and Villa Rufolo, whose gardens inspired Wagner's Parsifal.
Day FourA day to explore Sorrento's historical past with visits to the Cathedral, churches, museums, the ruins of Pollio Felice's villa and Greek walls. Return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon and after dinner a visit to Sorrento's theatre for an evening of traditional Neapolitan song and dance.
Day FiveA day tour Paestum to see three beautifully preserved Greek temples and also visit nearby Museo Nazionale di Paestum, housing frescoes which are amongst the few surviving examples of Greek painting.
Day SixTake a ferry from Sorrento harbour to Capri to visit the Axel Munthe museum and Mount Tiberio with its ruins of Capri's largest and most lavish Roman villa.
Day SevenA short train journey to Naples to visit the Archaeological museum with its vast collection of artifacts recovered from Pompeii and Herculaneum. Art lovers may prefer to visit the Palazzo Reale di Capodimonte to view the work of Raphael, Michelangelo, Botticelli and more.
Day Eight Last chance to enjoy the views before returning home to feast on some wonderful memories until the next time.
