Marina Grande provides
the visitor with a traditional working fishing harbour and Marina Piccola's ferry terminal
offers trips to Capri, Ischia, Naples, Amalfi and Positano etc., as well as leisurely
coastal cruises.

| Sunbathing |
Although Sorrento itself
has limited beaches, its bathing platforms and facilities are ideal for sunbathing and
swimming. However, small coves and beaches along the coast, such Marina del Cantone,
Puolo, Recommone, are easily accessible by public transport or boat.

Sorrento's strong musical tradition is evident from
street entertainers, the nightly 'Sorrento Musical Show' and regular concerts at the
Cloister of St Francis and Cocumella Hotel.
