Marina Grande and Marina Piccola
Marina Grande provides the visitor with a traditional working fishing harbour and Marina Piccola's ferry terminal offers trips to Capri, Ischia, Naples, Amalfi and Positano etc., as well as leisurely coastal cruises.

Sunbathing
Although Sorrento itself has limited beaches, its bathing platforms and facilities are ideal for sunbathing and swimming.  However, small coves and beaches along the coast, such Marina del Cantone, Puolo, Recommone, are easily accessible by public transport or boat.

Craft Workshops

Entertainment in Sorrento
Sorrento's strong musical tradition is evident from street entertainers, the nightly 'Sorrento Musical Show' and regular concerts at the Cloister of St Francis and Cocumella Hotel.
The Villa Fiorentino in the heart of the town is also a venue for exhibitions.
Shopping
Sorrento has an excellent selection of shops to suit all tastes and budgets, from traditional souvenirs to typical Italian style.
Cuisine and Cafe Culture
Gastronomic delights await the visitor and the cafes are perfectly placed for people-watching or to simply absorb the sights and sounds of Sorrento.
